After their transit through the Blancco process, laptops, base units and servers proceed to the next processing stage: the capture and removal of all external asset tags, and a full cosmetic check for any missing items. Any processor-based items, which cannot be rendered functional at this stage, will undergo a full audit appropriate to their equipment type. All asset labels and company identification will be removed. Fault codes We do not use free text reporting for faulty IT equipment. Instead, we use a matrix of codes to automatically describe the problem, which are easier for the client to understand and analyze. Grading To reduce subjectivity as much as possible, we grade equipment using four different benchmarks: - color (yellowing and UV damage)
